Has it been that long?

Holy Cow! It seems like yesterday that I posted...maybe I should quit smokin crack. lol

OK, LOTS of changes around here, good changes anyway.

Bought a studio space!. Cleaned it out...working there. Still cleaning it out, most likely will be cleaning it out for some time to come, but it is useable now. Had a fiber tribe meeting there, it was fun to see everyone and not have to clean the house first...or ever. hooray.

My pottery is totally up and running at Kick the Moon Studio. It is so great to have so much space for everything. I have different areas for each task in the pottery. It is beyond great.

I also have a really great dying kitchen in addition to a real food kitchen. Unfortunately the dying kitchen is formerly the pre school kitchen (I bought an old school house) and the sink is at my knees. It is back breaking to use it for felting and dying but eventually when the $$ are available I will be able to lift it up to adult, usable height. : )

I have some workshops that are up and coming. Those can be seen at www.kickthemoonfarm.com. No one is signed up yet but I hope as the word gets out that I will have some students ready and willing to learn some new fiber tricks. Even so I am having such a great time working in solitude. I know that sounds flaky but if the shoe fits...lol

Spring has finally arrived and it is spectacular and still a bit cool. I don't mind as long as the snow stays away for a while. The pool will be open soon and that means SUMMER! Yay.

School is going well, I am sporting a 4.0 grade average so far. Granite State College transferred 80 of my hours and I have 96 hours total. YAY. I am officially working toward a degree in Art. Intro to Photography is scheduled for this summer, but doesn't start until July. Oh well, I have plenty to do until then.

The lambing is almost done, we have two live lambs so far. Braunwon had two beautiful ewe lambs but didn't take care of them, I wasn't paying close enough attention and they passed, that was very sad. Pixie had a bad birthing, Passi has a really nice white ram lamb, his name is Maynard. Geesla's big old boy's name is Dise, Daisy hasn't gone yet but she is HUGE so should go at any time. I plan to get them out on the fields this week, they will love that. I am hoping Daisy has her lamb first though.

Anyhoo, this has gone on long enough. Hope anyone reading this is well and that this evening brings happiness and joy.
Take care and hopefully I will get back here SOONER than before. : )
Peace and creativity,
julie
